Soy & Ginger Dipping Sauce

This scallion, soy, cilantro and ginger dipping sauce is wonderful with dumplings, poached chicken or fresh egg noodles. If I have a lot of it left over, I use it as a marinade for chicken.

Andrew Zimmern Cooks: Soy & Ginger Dipping Sauce


    • 4 tablespoons ginger, grated
    • 1 cup scallions, minced
    • 3 tablespoons cilantro, minced
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, or more to taste
    • 1 teaspoon yuzu kosho


    Combine all of the ingredients in and mix well until sugar dissolves. Let sit for 1 hour before serving.
