Hard Boiled Eggs
Follow these simple steps for perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. Hard boiling an egg is an easy way to take a healthy, protein-filled snack on the road. I also like to keep a half dozen on hand in the fridge for a quick breakfast, and to add to salads and sandwiches.
SERVINGS: MAKES 6 EGGS
Carefully place the eggs in a sauce pan and cover with cold water. Slowly bring to a boil. Allow to boil for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat and let rest in the water for 10 minutes. Place eggs in a bowl of ice water, then peel. Season with salt and pepper.
