We enjoyed a dinner at this gem of a restaurant with our friends, Lee and Terry. The Chef, Colby Garrelts, has been nominated several times for Best Chef Midwest by the James Beard Foundation. He offers an eclectic menu which includes a lavish Caviar presentation, a fresh Spring pea soup with lemon crème fraiche and thyme, a checkerboard Hamachi Crudo presentation with carbonated citrus, absinthe and ginger gelee, a buttermilk soaked, deep fried Campo Lindo hen served on grits with bourbon barbeque and mustard greens, and a tasty roast Kurobuta pork loin with shallots and pink peppercorn sauce.
