All-Star Festivities

In celebration of the MLB All-Star Game in Minneapolis, Children’s Hospital chose 16 kids to form its own all-star team. It was a fantastic event, where the Children’s All-Stars signed autographs for sports and television celebrities, including actor James Denton, Wild player Zach Parise, Ryan McDonagh of the New York Rangers, and yours truly. The kids walked away with a few autographs of their own, Louisville Slugger custom-made bats and official All-Star Game memorabilia. Having the opportunity to chat with these amazing children and brighten their day was truly a pleasure. I’m constantly in awe of these brave kids and am astonished at what an amazing job Children’s Hospital does to help them through an incredibly challenging time. A huge thanks to everyone who made the event happen.
