The Great Northern is an annual celebration of Minnesota’s most iconic season—but you already know that. What’s so exciting about this year’s festival is the food component, and none are more tantalizing than the debut of the Winter Table.
As part of the 10 day festival of outdoor food, arts, and activity, The Bachelor Farmer and Spoon & Stable will be teaming up to present a once-in-a-lifetime dinner on Monday, January 30. The block between the two restaurants will be closed to make way for a 100-person, luminary-limed outdoor table and seven-course feast. The two respective restaurants’ head chefs, Paul Berglund and Gavin Kaysen, will be working together to create an unforgettable meal.
A dinner like this has never been done before in Minneapolis, just ask the city officials who issued the street closure permit. The once-in-a-lifetime experience will be truly spectacular, and while the cost is not inexpensive, the ticket price is completely inclusive of wine and cocktail pairings throughout the meal, as well as tax and gratuity. Each guest will also receive a Faribault Woolen Mill blanket created especially for the occasion.
