Delicious French Comfort Food

Picking the one greatest comfort food restaurant in the world would be challenging. But in France, naming the best Michelin 3 star comfort food restaurant might quickly focus on George Blanc, east of Macon. This is because of its two great signature dishes known for the simplicity of their flavors: baby frog legs (served in two courses) cooked in butter and garlic, and the classic Bresse chicken (dark or white meat) cooked with morels in a delicious cream sauce. This country restaurant has increasingly prospered over several generations. George Blanc inherited the iconic Mere Blanc from his mother and is now preparing his son to take over. The wine list is broad and quite thoughtful.
