Comfy, Contemporary & Downright Delicious

At Tilia, Steven Brown has elevated the concept of a neighborhood cafe into a contemporary, family-friendly gastropub. It’s a place I can take my kid for breakfast, my wife for lunch and my lawyer for dinner. It has style, but most importantly it’s a place that feels instantly comfy. I love the potted meat starter (a superb marriage of a rillette and a terrine) and the fish torta (fried fish, creamy peppadew slaw, corn chips, cilantro and lime never tasted so good), but really the whole menu is fantastic right down to the dessert. This place has been packed since it opened, so go during off-peak hours or expect a wait.
