- 3 avocados
- 1 lime
- 1 Serrano chile
- 1 Roma tomato
- 1/4 cup onion, minced
Guacamole is the perfect healthy snack for entertaining while the big game is on. The simplicity of this version really lets the flavor of the avocado shine.
SERVINGS: 4 TO 6 AS AN APPETIZER
Halve the avocados, remove the seeds and scoop into a large mixing bowl. Squeeze half of the lime over the avocado.
Quarter the Serrano chile and mince. Add it to the bowl with the avocado and squeeze the other half of the lime over it.
Cut the tomato into quarters, remove the seeds and dice. Add the tomatoes and the minced onion to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Roughly mash with the tip of a spatula, a potato masher or a whisk. I like to leave some chunks of avocado in my guacamole. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
