Two Locations of Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen at the New Vikings Stadium
I’m really excited to bring amazing food to Vikings fans, guests of U.S. Bank Stadium and anyone visiting what I think is the best sports facility in the world. The brand new stadium will have two outposts of Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen, alongside local favorites Revival Restaurant and Ike’s Food & Cocktails.
Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen Hoagies is a partnership with my longtime friend Gavin Kaysen, chef and owner of Minneapolis’ Spoon and Stable. Gavin is one of the best chefs in the country and together we plan on revolutionizing the way fans enjoy their food at the stadium. You can expect to see a menu with Italian meatball, sausage, beef and roast pork sandwiches, along with bomboloni, or Italian donuts. Today, we previewed a hoagie with sliced porchetta, charred broccoli rabe, arugula dressed with a lemon vinaigrette, provolone and garlic aioli. We can’t wait for you to try it come football season.
Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen Rotisserie will serve rotisserie beef, lamb, poultry, pork and goat, offered up by the half pound and pound as well as chopped and pulled for sandwiches. Stay tuned for more details to come!
