- 1 pound extra wide egg noodles
- 4 cups cottage cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup minced dried apricots
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions
Servings: 10 to 12
Cook, drain and cool noodles.
Combine all the ingredients reserving the almonds, brown sugar and one teaspoon of the cinnamon for sprinkling on the top of the casserole.
Butter a large baking pan or 2 small brownie pans. Pour the noodle mixture into the pan. Sprinkle kugel with the reserved ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, until set and golden brown.
